Mr. Hothur Shadab Wahab is the third generation of the Hothur family and the youngest son of Mr. Hothur Abdul Wahab. Currently he has been executing his responsibilities as a Managing Director of Embitee Iron and Steel Pvt Limited. Soon after completing his Master Degree in Business Administration from Bangalore University, he has joined the group business during 2002-03.
He has initiated several innovations in Management, Technology, and Processes. Earlier he streamlined MBT activities, introduced modern Management techniques, implemented a comprehensive HR policy, and oversaw the complete mechanization of all the mining operations & Logistics of his group, comprising KMMI (Kariganur Mineral Mining Industry), Hothur Traders, HT Mines, MBT Mines, TM and TMC mines.
While continuing to play a major role in his group companies, Mr. Hothur Shadab Wahab is expanding the group activities into Steel making through Embitee Iron and Steel Pvt Ltd..
Currently he is planning to put-up an ISP (Integrated Steel Plant) to produce 1.2 MT PA of finished steel with an estimated investment to the tune of many crores. Also, his main intention is to generate employment opportunities to about 1000 people in Bellary District.
He has inculcated discipline, punctuality and perfection from his illustrious father. His father has been a role model to him right from his childhood and even now also.
He firmly believes in building a management team combining extensive operations, management and technical skills with strong marketing and sales capability.
